Counting Blessings

Last night I received a phone call that my cousin's eighteen year old son was found dead at home. No foul play. No drugs or alcohol. Just a child who they think may have had a seizure after shoveling snow. It wakes you up, a call like that. It makes you think, makes you remember just how precious the moments we have are. You never know when a call like that might be coming or what news about whom will be waiting on the other end. So relish your moments. Soak them in and cherish every one of them. The good, the bad, all of them. They prove that you are alive!
